To our valued customers and employees,
Action Honda has been closely monitoring COVID-19 and concerns about the virus escalating. The health and safety of our employees and customers is paramount and while measures of enhanced cleaning protocols and social distancing policies are put in place, the time has come to ask you, our valued customers to do your part. Based on our health authorities and government directives, we are applying protocols in place immediately as follows:
1- Sick employees will be asked to remain at home. If employees become symptomatic during their work schedule, please report to your department manager as soon as possible.
2- Visitors/customers that have travelled to or have been in direct contact with someone who has travelled to high risk areas, or if they have had contact with someone who is presumed or confirmed to have COVID-19 is asked to postpone their service or sales appointments. . *Staff is reminded to approach clients in a friendly and very professional manner at all times. Keep calm. Refer to your Manager when in doubt.*
3- A dedicated employee will perform ongoing, routine environmental cleaning/disinfecting of high traffic areas, and other places most susceptible to contamination in addition to the evening cleaning service.
4- Employees will be asked to restrict personal/business travel at this time. If travel is unavoidable, employees must report their personal travel locations to the dealership management prior to travelling. Upon return, employees will be required to self isolate for 14 days prior to returning to work.
5- The seating arrangement in the customer waiting area is redesigned to respect the 2 meter social and physical distancing guideline. Similar social distancing arrangement is implemented in the Service Reception area.
6- Until further notice, service is by appointment only and mask needs to be worn in our dealership.
We will continue to closely monitor the latest developments and re-assess the risk of the spread of the COVID-19 in the dealership. We all need to do our part in keeping our customers, employees and families safe during this time. Thank you all for your understanding.
